    Westinghouse Model Railway Club

About Us

Who we are

We are a group of 25 or so modellers whose interests between them cover most branches of railway modelling.  We meet regularly at our club-house to work on layout and model construction, and just as often simply to discuss aspects of life from railway modelling (of prime importance!) to full-size railways, the state of the r-t-r trade, or whatever else is going on in the world.

Our strength is in our broad range of experience with modelling, layout design and construction techniques and the use of materials.  We exchange advice and provide support to each other in our personal projects, as well as getting together for the club layouts and other activities.

The club has a range of tools that individuals usually don't have, and also some materials.

We have a multi-gauge Test Track which is proving useful and popular with members.

Where and when to find us:

We meet on Monday and Thursday nights at the club hut at Langley Park (formerly the Westinghouse site), Chippenham, between 7.30pm & 10.00pm.
